During April 2011, Tribal Flight Paragliding coordinated a SIV course for pilots.  It run for 2 weeks at Leslie Dam near Warwick with fully qualified instructors, Jonny Allen and Mark Hardeman.  The course was a huge success with 19 pilots attending who where given detailed instruction on how to handle Full Stalls, Sats, Frontals, Water Landing and reserve deployment.

S.I.V (Simulated Incident in Flight) Courses are highly recommended for paragliding pilots who fly in thermals and go cross country.  The course will give you the confidence and skill to handle your glider in all conditions.  If something does go wrong, you will know how to rectify the problem quickly and correctly by ensuring you understand your glider characteristics.

Participating in a SIV Clinic will increase a pilot’s confidence and open a new dimension of flying a paraglider.

Here is some great video from the last SIV course conducted in April.
